1. Who these terms cover
These terms apply to anyone using the Twicover platform to request a quote, apply for, hold, or claim on a policy. They don't replace the actual policy wording issued by your underwriting partner, which governs your specific cover, exclusions, and claims entitlements.
2. Twicover's role
Twicover operates the technology platform — quotation, underwriting workflow, payment processing, and claims administration. Insurance risk is carried by our underwriting partners, who are licensed insurers; Twicover itself is not the insurer on your policy.
3. Quotes and applications
A quote is an offer to insure on stated terms and is valid only until the expiry shown at the time it's issued. Submitting an application means the information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge — inaccurate information can affect your cover or a future claim.
4. Payment and policy issuance
Your policy takes effect once payment is confirmed and your certificate is issued. If a product requires a third-party valuation, your quote may be adjusted based on the valuer's findings before you're asked to pay.
5. Cancellations and renewals
You may cancel an active policy at any time from your dashboard; cancellation terms (including any applicable refund) follow your policy's specific wording. We'll contact you ahead of your renewal date, but renewal is not automatic unless your policy says otherwise.
6. Claims
Claims are reviewed by your underwriting partner's adjusters against your policy's actual terms. Twicover facilitates submission and status tracking but does not itself decide claim outcomes.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to submit false or misleading information, attempt to access another customer's account or data, or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be posted here and, where required, notified to you directly.
